Philosophy Statement:
It is the purpose of Lollipop Lane Day Care / Preschool Center Inc. to offer the community a quality childcare center to meet the needs of as many families as possible. It is our aim to provide a loving environment for the children, which will inspire them in their daily attendance to learn and grow at a rate that is developmentally, yet one that will spark interest and enthusiasm. Our preschool curriculum is developmentally appropriate for each age group and allows for both freedom and creativity on the part of the teacher and the child.
Staff:
Our teachers and teacher aides are carefully selected and career early childhood development aspirations are preferred. Teachers must have a minimum of 12 units (or have them in progress) of Early Childhood Education, as well as meet other necessary qualifications of our program. Our ratios are: Infant: 1 teacher per 4 children; Toddler: 1 teacher per 4 children; Preschool: 1 teacher per 12 children; and School Age: 1 teacher per 14 children.
Visiting the Center:
We have an open door policy and you are welcome to visit anytime during the business hours. However if you would like a personal tour of the Center and be assured of some individual time with the Center Director we suggest that you call for an appointment.
